Dear {:firstName},

Welcome to your April edition of the Zadel Property Education Newsletter.
I think it’s safe to say that we have a few more ‘leaders’ reading today than we had last month. What has been an excellent month for our entire community culminated recently at our highly successful ‘Stuart Zadel Leadership’ event, which took place on Sydney’s beautiful harbour at Luna Park!

We packed out Leadership with more than 200 attendees and 15 amazing crew members, each who played a part in making the weekend exciting, inspirational and most importantly, fun! We will talk about some touch-points on being a leader a little later, but first we want to share with you some big news for the month.

Introducing… Jeff Banks

We are excited to present a new addition to our Newsletter team, Mr. Jeff Banks, Founder of Banks Consultancy. We understand the importance of having a good number cruncher and proactive accounting partner when embarking on your property journey and Jeff will be bringing you monthly tips on all things tax and accounts related. Bank Consultancy is, as we see it, one of the top accounting firms in Australia which is why we are so thrilled to have him share his knowledge with you!

Tired of paying too much for incorrect advice?

In addition to his monthly educational videos, Jeff is offering a special one-off complimentary initial consultation to all Zadel Property Education clients and the chance to spend some time with Jeff or his experienced team. Although his office is based in Sydney, Jeff has a national reach and is able to stay connected with clients from all parts of the country.

During this time you have the chance to review your current financial structure or walk away with ideas on a structure that will suit your plan. For those who are interested in taking up this valuable offer, you can contact Banks Consultancy by telephone on 1300 792 874; email them at info@banksconsultancy.com or go directly to their website via www.banksconsultancy.com/zadelpropertyeducation and fill out your details there.

This month in our educational video section, Jeff will be introducing himself and sharing his first tip of the month, feel free to check it out now…

What’s Coming Up?

Cherie Barber’s national Renovating Run Down Real Estate tour kicks off next week in Melbourne. Cherie will be travelling around Australia sharing her highly-successful property renovation tips to audience members who are ready to turn some ugly ducklings into swans. Following that, Daniel Kertcher’s live Share Trading Success workshops are hitting the stages in mid-May for anyone who is looking to learn additional cash flow strategies without the hassle of a tenant.

Reflecting on our early round of events this year and the level of education offered, we are honoured to be able to provide you with even further education from some of the BEST property and financial market experts in the country. I’d encourage you to watch their educational videos below my intro so you can stay up to date on some of the current trends in property and shares. To check the full event schedule of future events featuring our experts, please visit http://www.zadel.com/upcoming-events.

As mentioned earlier, the apex for this month came at Leadership two weeks ago when a handful of our community left their old selves on the shelf and tackled a completely new side of life. So this month, we would like to share with you some lessons in…

***LEADERSHIP***

A great man once said, “Success is falling nine times and getting up ten.” Whether you like it or not, during your life you will fall. It may be in your business career, your relationships, your health or your happiness, but whatever the case, there will be times when you are knocked down.

There is an invisible line that is dividing our society, and people above that invisible line have achieved wealth and success in all areas of their lives. Change to - These people are financially free, satisfied with their relationships and living a healthy and abundant lifestyle. I believe that everyone of us is not only entitled to this type of a life, but capable of achieving it.

Here are some starting points for someone looking to pave the road towards leadership and prosperity:

  • The first 15% of effort you put into any project will achieve 85% of the result.
  • The one main difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is the ability to habitualise the things they don’t like doing.
  • People living above the line are accountable for their actions and responsible for their outcomes and solutions. People living below the line look for excuses, blame others and detach from responsibility.
  • Most accountability = most income!
  • You will never achieve full success in your own comfort zone. If you aren’t uncomfortable, you probably aren’t pushing yourself enough.
  • I SEE, I COULD, I WILL. Unsuccessful people see opportunity and think of how they could utilise it. Successful people act on their intentions and roll out their plans.

Michael Jordan once said, “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions, I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and missed. I have failed over and over again in my life… and that is why I succeed.”

You are all leaders; you just need to find that burning desire!

To Your Success,
