Hi Friend,

Have you ever wondered why we tend to look back as a new year approaches?

I've found that we may be doing it for several reasons:

  • To revisit the things that we're thankful for
  • To reflect on the things that we can do more of
  • To remember the things that amazed and inspired us
  • To relish the memories that make our lives a lot more meaningful

The great poet Ralph Waldo Emerson put it best when he said, 'Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year'.

What you think, you become, and that's exactly what's happened to Zadel Property Education this year. In fact, it's been an amazing year filled with so many things that I'm truly grateful for.

I'm so thankful and grateful for Jasi, my General Manager, who gave birth to her beautiful daughter in January and still managed to remain relentless in her pursuit of excellence running all our events throughout the year with such class.

I'm so thankful and grateful for my inspiring team from all over the country. There's a huge amount of work that goes into each event, and without their commitment and support, none of what we do would be possible.

I'm so thankful and grateful for the dedication of all our experts, past and present, who graced our stage in our 10th Anniversary Birthday year at the 'Ultimate Property Conference' and the very special 'Ultimate Think and Grow Rich Wealth Creation Conference'.

And of course, I'm so thankful and grateful for YOU – the driving force behind what we do. With your incredible support, we have now contributed more than $459,000 to worthwhile causes; planted 45,196 trees (and caused a whole bunch more to be planted), and inspired well over 50,000 fellow Aussies to live bigger, brighter and more fulfilling lives.

As we look forward, we're kicking off the New Year 2017 with my final 3-Day 'Stuart Zadel Experience' event... the very last SZE I'll ever be running! Congratulations to those who have qualified and secured their tickets. It's going to be a spectacular event!

We'll also be launching a series of brand new events, brand new bonuses, brand new prizes and a host of other new and exciting evolutions that I can't wait to tell you about – so stay tuned for some of these major announcements in January.

For now, I'd like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, wonderful festive season, and a final thought – what would it take to make 2017 your best year ever?

To Your Success.

'Tools Of Titans' by Tim Ferriss

Ever wondered if there's a secret recipe to success? Well, Tim Ferriss did, and this groundbreaking book is proof.

In his best-selling book, Tim writes about the actions, strategies, and practices (the 'Tools') - great achievers like Daymond John, Noah Kagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and more (the 'Titans') have employed to catapult them to success.

Part philosophy, part business, and part story, this book documents the powerful combination of the mind, actions and habits, and helps you discover why other people make it that far while others make it further.

1 bay leaf
1 onion, finely chopped
1 large carrot, chopped
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon chopped thyme
1 cup (250ml) vegetable stock
1 cup (250ml) tomato passata (sieved tomatoes)
800g potatoes, peeled, chopped
100g unsalted butter or olive oil
400g can lentils, rinsed, drained
1/2 cup (125ml) milk or unsweetened almond milk if vegan
100g grated cheddar or sprinkle with nutritional yeast if vegan

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
2. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat and cook onion until slightly translucent.
3. Add celery, carrot and garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
4. Add passata, bay, thyme and stock.
5. Simmer gently for 15 minutes until vegetables are cooked.
6. Whilst simmering, cook potatoes separately until soft and add some salt to season.
7. In the pan, stir in lentils and season, then transfer to a baking dish.
8. Drain and mash the potatoes, then stir in butter or olive oil, milk, and cheddar.
9. Spread over lentil mixture and roughen top with a fork.
10. Bake for 15 minutes or until bubbling and golden.
