October 1 is, in fact, World Vegetarian Day… and finally Arnold Schwarzenegger discovers the truth about meat and dairy.

Listen to what Big Arnie has to say here…

If you’ve been to my events, or heard me speak, you’ll know I put health as my top value. In fact, I’ve been studying health now for more than 25 years.

After all, what good is money if you don’t have health?

I find it very interesting, that finally, one of the world’s most famous people, a man who has, by default of his fame and bodybuilding success, probably been responsible for the perpetuation of;

  • the myth that meat and dairy are good for you,
  • the myth that meat and dairy makes you strong,
  • the myth that meat and dairy are a good source of protein,

…than anyone else on the planet – has seen the light.

Turns out it’s all a complete lie.

Often, the truth is uncomfortable for us to hear, and good on Arnie for having the courage to take a stand. That’s integrity – acting to correct a wrong once discovering the truth.

See, the facts are, the farming of animals for human consumption and profit is:

  1. The #1 environmentally destructive industry on the planet,
  2. The #1 cause of cancer and disease (read The China Study – see below),
  3. The #1 morally wrong human act against other species (and ourselves), and
  4. Totally unnecessary.

Imagine, on this footy grand final double weekend in Australia, if people were as enthusiastic about things that actually mattered as they are about who wins a game.

Things like their health, the environment, and peace and understanding.

What if, like Arnie, in one single, simple move today you could change it all, immediately, single-handedly and forever.

Realise, you have the power to change stuff. One person can change the whole world and it starts with you.

If you desire to live longer and healthier,
If you desire to protect and heal the environment,
If you desire to see humanity thrive at a higher level,

…The power is in your hands…

Of course education precedes change.

So, go the Sharkies (but the Storm then lose).

Go the Swannies (but the Bulldogs then lose).

But Go Veg – and we all win!

Happy World Vegetarian Day.
