On one fine day, a gentleman came up to me and asked how he can make a certain amount of money passively.
And then I had another gentleman talk to me about his health and how he can be disease-free.
And then I had another friend – a middle-aged woman, who’s single, but who doesn’t want to be.
This discussion is in light of all of them.
Because you know what, sometimes the basics are the best bits.
And I want to talk to you about that now.
I’m going to talk about wealth in this.
However, I want you to understand that it applies to your relationships, to your happiness, to your health, and to every area of life as well.
It’s quite simple.
Everything You Know About Making Money Is False…
When it comes to money, I often ask people at my events, ‘how many of you would like to be more financially prosperous or financially abundant?’.
Of course, most people put their hands up to that question.
And then I go further to say ‘listen if you’re going to go down that path you need to understand a few things.’
You need to understand that the way we’ve been conditioned to believe in things may not be accurate.
So I tell people often that everything you have been taught about money is actually false.
One, it doesn’t take money to make money. That’s one of the big ones out there.
Two, it doesn’t take a university degree to make money. In fact, most of the world’s super-wealthy didn’t have one!
Three, it doesn’t take good grades to make money. It doesn’t take good looks, good ideas or good- anything you can imagine.
Four, it doesn’t take a good job to make money. In fact, you don’t even need a job at all. And in some cases, your job can even be a hindrance to you.
Fifth, it doesn’t take the right religion or living in the right area, city or suburb, or country, for that matter, to make money.
Sixth, you don’t need to drive the right car, you don’t need to come from the right family, and you don’t need to have the right contacts in the beginning.
None of these things matters.
…But What You Don’t Know About Making Money Is True
There’s only one thing you need to make money: you need to make a decision.
That’s it?
Yes.
But, it’s a special sort of decision.
It’s called an ‘irrevocable decision.’
So let’s look at the word decision.
It actually comes from the word ‘incision’ – a medical term that means to ‘cut away from’.
So you’re cutting away from all other options available to you.
It’s an irrevocable decision you need to make.
What does it mean?
It means you can’t take it back.
The Goal Card Exercise
Now, I find this surprising because information such as this is available to people but they don’t act on it.

If you haven’t read the first chapter of this book, I highly recommend it you do.
There’s a number of great hints and tips in there that, believe it or not, actually work.
One of them, in particular, is called The Goal Card exercise.
Here’s how you can do it.
First, get yourself a piece of card.
Second, write your decision on the card by completing this sentence:
I’m so happy and grateful now that…’
I always use this as an example:
‘I’m so happy and grateful now that I’m on schedule to become financially abundant.’
Fourth, after writing your decision on the card, sign it.
Fifth, make it a point to read the card many times each day.
I’m going to tell you, it’s going to start to change the way you think.
It’s going to start to change what you see out there in society.
And you’re going to start to see opportunities and think about things and how people have done to them.
Sooner or later, you’ll be asking, well how you are going to do it?
How are you going to achieve financial abundance?
Look, I’ve got some ideas, systems and stuff on that.
However, the truth is, I don’t know.
You never know.
What I do know is that if you make the decision, you can get there.
There might be a few more things to learn, but in truth, it all starts with that.
It’s a decision, and what sort of decision?
You guessed it.
A special sort.
It’s called irrevocable.
