What’s the key to successful property renovation? Naomi Findlay reveals it in this post.
A connection with nature is a key element to space medicine.
Remember I spoke about space medicine earlier, where the spaces that we surround ourselves in have an effect on us from a cellular to a cerebral level. Which means, it also has an effect on our buyer.
Research has shown that on a primitive level, humans crave a connection with nature, and when they have a connection with nature, it makes them feel secure and abundant.
The research shows us that it’s all about the greenery, the colour green, and the green elements that are within the space. Primitively, from years gone by, green signifies life, which signifies water, which signifies abundance and security. So why not create a property and create an experience for your buyer that allows them to feel secure and abundant when inspecting a property that they want to buy?
HOW DO WE CONNECT WITH NATURE?
The first way we do it is we increase the controllable, natural light that we allow into the property.
Second way we do it is try and create visual connections from the inside to the outside of the property. So when someone’s inside the property and inspecting it, we’re giving them the greatest possible chance to have visual glimpses of nature, greenery, skylines, and the distance beyond.
Third way that we do it is we actually include greenery and living natural elements in our styling of our property. Everything from planting, to natural woven rugs, or natural textured styling elements. What this does, is it allows the internal aspects of the property to be connected with our nature outside, which—as we’ve summarised it all up—allows our buyers that are inspecting the property to feel secure and abundant. That is certainly a big advantage when you’re looking to sell your property.
