Of all the numbers, 13 is Stuart Zadel’s favourite. And it might become your lucky number, too. Find out why.
13. Unlucky for some!
However, 13 has long been my new lucky number.
Why?
Well, the book Think and Grow Rich (released in 1937) comprises 13 chapters. These chapters are actually principles to create financial freedom starting with nothing to giving back wealth in return.
These principles worked for thousands of people. It worked for me. These 13 principles remain the basis of every fortune, even today.
It really doesn’t matter how you are making your wealth. Whether it’s through property, business, the internet or share market, these principles apply.
It’s also interesting to point out that in the world’s highest selling wealth creation book of all time, the word ‘Money’ is not mentioned in any one of the 13 chapter titles.
Plus, the 13 principles in the book can be boiled down to just 3 key principles.
So if you want the cliff notes, here’s the tip:
HAVE A DEFINITE CHIEF AIM
The starting point of all achievement is to clearly define your Definite Chief Aim in life and have a written plan for its achievement. Unfortunately, only 2% of the population has a Definite Chief Aim, even fewer have it written down and even fewer again have a written plan for its attainment. This is likely why 99% of the world’s wealth is in the hands of only 1% of the population. I have evidence that both Gandhi and Bruce Lee were ardent students of Think and Grow Rich and used the principles for their outstanding achievements.
USE APPLIED FAITH
This is the action part of the philosophy, and has nothing to do with any religious doctrine. It is about a state of mind of total faith that what you desire is on its way and complete expectation that it will imminently be in your possession. You are working in harmony with universal law, taking massive action to bring about your desire.
DEVELOP A MASTERMIND TEAM
The “Master Mind” may be defined as: Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose. I frequently point out, business, property and wealth generation are team sports. Through this key principle, one may overcome almost every single handicap or personal deficiency, except that of a burning desire.
I’d also suggest that if you can attain a goal on your own, it’s not a very big goal. Perhaps it’s time to think bigger?
Once you have these three keys in place, all that is then required is to appropriate and apply the specialized knowledge to actually go out and add massive value according to the desires of the marketplace. Do this and you win.
